A teenager was indicted on charges related to trying to abuse an underage relative. Daniel Pettis, 18, of Georgetta Dix Boulevard, is charged with attempted sexual abuse, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child. The incident allegedly occurred June 19 at his home.

James Haskins, 29, of Albany Street, was indicted on counts of driving while intoxicated and jumping bail. He is accused of driving down State Street drunk on April 8 while his license was suspended because of a previous alcohol-related conviction.

William August, 28, of VanVranken Avenue, and William Daley, 35, of Eastern Parkway, were both charged with arson, conspiracy and criminal mischief in connection with a car being set on fire on Maxon Road.
